Alpaca Farm Tour Christchurch

The tour concludes with a visit to the fibre shed to see and feel prize-winning fleeces, followed by a visit to the trophy room and alpaca shop. Silverstream Alpaca Stud is located just 20 minutes north of the city. They have been welcoming visitors to their magnificent farm since 2004.

Enjoy a one-hour farm tour to see the adorable and inquisitive alpaca. Located just 20 minutes north of the Christchurch CBD, Silverstream Alpaca Stud farm is one of New Zealand's best-known alpaca farms.

Silverstream animals have won supreme champion titles at every major show in New Zealand, and many of these animals have been exported to most parts of Europe and Asia.

The interactive farm tour includes feeding, touching, photographing, and cuddling the alpacas, and in season, the visitor gets to hold the babies (cria). The owner will provide an entertaining and informative commentary on all things alpaca.
