Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of aircraft is used for the tour?

The flights are flown using a Eurocopter EC130, a modern single-turboshaft, six-seat helicopter with a spacious cabin and large windows for excellent viewing.

How early should I arrive before my scheduled flight?

You should arrive 30 minutes before departure. This allows time for check-in, weight & balance assessments, safety briefings, and any necessary preparations.

What should I wear for the alpine landing?

Dress in layers and wear good walking shoes. Even in warmer seasons, alpine landings (like on Mt Fyffe) can be cool and breezy especially at altitude so a light jacket and sturdy footwear are recommended.

The tour requires good weather. If it’s too poor to fly safely, they will offer a rescheduled flight or a full refund.

Is the flight suitable for older passengers?
