Full Description

Travel in comfort in a private vehicle whilst enjoying expert commentary from your professional, local driver guide. You will depart Wellington and follow the Hutt River along the Hutt Valley and over the Remutaka Ranges with a sightseeing stop at the Summit before arriving in the wine region of Martinborough. Here you will visit three of the region's best wineries, where cellar door staff will introduce a variety of their wines, which you may sample at your discretion.

Tour includes all cellar door admission and wine tasting fees. Visit a local cafe or restaurant by request; however, lunch is NOT included in your tour fee.

Meeting Point

Tour Schedule: 10:00 - 15:30 (5.5 hours; Runs daily)

We provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off from selected centrally located Wellington hotels as well as the Wellington Cruise Terminal at the port.

Pick-up times are typically scheduled 15–30 minutes before the activity start time. Please refer to our updates for your specific pick-up details, which may vary depending on your chosen location.

Meeting Point

If your hotel has not yet been confirmed, the default meeting point is the Pick-up and Drop-off lane on the Wakefield Street side of Tākina Convention and Exhibition Centre (217 Wakefield Street). Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.

Cruise Terminal Pick-up

Pick-up from the cruise terminal begins 30 minutes prior to tour departure. Please do not board the cruise shuttle buses, even if instructed by cruise ship staff. Our driver-guide, holding Zozo Travel signage, will meet you in the Private Tour Waiting Area at the cruise port terminal.
