Full Description
Sit back and relax as your cruise departs from Milford Sound Wharf, and makes its way out past the iconic Mitre Peak. Cruise the length of the 16km fiord, out past St Annes Point Lighthouse, while listening to informative commentary from our skipper who will highlight points of interest along the way including the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. We go further and get you closer than any other operator in Milford Sound.

Please keep in mind the drive to Milford Sound from Te Anau is 2 hours, and the drive from Queenstown is 4 hours this does not include any stops along the way.
Please check-in at the Mitre Peak Cruises desk in the Visitors Terminal 30 minutes before departure time,
We are the first desk on the left-hand side check-in will close 5 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
Please note; there is two different lots of parking in Milford Sound, there is car parking at Deep Water Basin (which you will need to allow an extra 30 minutes onto your arrival time if you would like to do the nature walk from this point). Closer to the Terminal, by the Information Centre is the Milford Sound Tourism car park. This is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Terminal. Please take note that car parking in both locations are free and do not require payment.
Don’t forget to fuel your car in Te Anau as there is no petrol station in Milford Sound or on the way.
Things you should bring with you: Insect Repellent, a rain jacket and something to eat.

There is a minimum number of travellers for this experience. If the minimum isn't met and we need to cancel, we will offer a different date/experience or a full refund.
