This tour is guided by our Christchurch partners, Cheeky Kea.

***PLEASE NOTE: The Hooker Valley Track is currently closed beyond Müller Lookout (located between the first and second swing bridges) while the Department of Conservation replaces one of the bridges. This scenic section still offers stunning views and a rewarding hiking experience. The full track is expected to reopen in Autumn 2026.***

Weather in New Zealand can be a little unpredictable and it is said we experience four seasons in one day for good reason! We recommend bringing a rain jacket, hat, sunscreen & insect repellent.

Lunch is not provided on this tour. If you plan to embark on any hikes during your Mount Cook tour, it's advisable to bring along a light lunch or grab some food when we stop in Omarama. If you do not plan on embarking on one of the local treks, there will be opportunities for you to purchase food along the way & while you are in Aoraki / Mt Cook.

Full refund if cancelled up to 24 hours before activity starts.

Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What kind of vehicle is used for the tour?

You’ll travel in modern, air-conditioned minibuses (e.g., Mercedes-Sprinter or similar), equipped for comfort, USB/charging ports, and ample room for small groups.

Is there any free time available at Mt Cook?

Yes, you’ll have 2½ to 3 hours of free time in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. This allows for self-guided walks (like the Tasman Glacier View walk), optional scenic flights, glacier landing flights, or simply soaking in the alpine scenery.

Are meals also provided during the trip?

Lunch is not included in the tour price, you’ll need to either bring your own or purchase food at stops along the way. However, snacks and bottled water are provided during the journey.

Can luggage be transported with us on this one-way tour?

Yes, luggage is included. Each passenger may bring one checked bag up to 23 kg, plus one carry-on.

Is the tour suitable for elderly travelers?
