Surrounded by water in all its corners, Tauranga boasts a popular harbour entrance and beautiful beaches, and our proudly local and Māori crew guide you on a unique experience to meet these areas. Enter the water and be assisted to develop your technique and comfort level. We paddle to our ancestral mountain, Mauao, at a cruisy, adventurous pace. Hear the stories of both ancient and recent times. Enjoy a snack and a short walk on the mountain in the harbour entrance at Te Kawa beach.

You can find us halfway along Pilot Bay, close to the public toilets. Look out for the orange tent.

Come prepared to get wet. We cannot guarantee you will stay dry. There will be a safe space to leave belongings at your own risk while you paddle.
