Full Description
Flying in a paraglider is a feeling like no other. Imagine sitting in an armchair, hundreds of meters in the sky, feeling totally immersed yet completely secure. Watching deer run on the mountainside below and hawks flying beside you. As your pilot manoeuvres the glider within meters of the majestic Twin Waterfalls.
Itinerary

8 am - Check to see if we are operating by visiting our website at www.wanakaparagliding.co.nz
8.30 am - Meet us at the landing zone
9 am - Arrive at the launch area and receive a safety briefing
9.20 am - Launch
9.30 am - Landing
9.45 am - Activity complete.

What to Bring: warm clothing, sunhat, sunglasses, sturdy shoes, and a smartphone.

Extras
Photos/Videos of pilot & passenger using GoPro cameras. Generally, at least 30-40 photos and 2-3 videos are available and transferred directly to your smartphone after landing. The cost for this is $80. (optional)
Full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours before activity starts.
Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

All participants are required to read and sign a "Risk Disclosure" form at arrival, prior to taking part in any "Adventure Activity" by NZ law.

Can I bring my own camera or GoPro during the flight?
Yes, you can, but it is suggested to use them before the flight for photos and videos.
Is there a weight limit?
The maximum weight for paragliding is 120 kg (down to 110 kg during the months of April and May).
