Meeting Point

Catch the 9:00 am Fullers ferry from downtown Auckland (the trip to Waiheke takes approximately 35 minutes, ferry ticket not included in the tour price)

Walk starts: 9:45 am, Ferry Wharf in Matiatia

When leaving the ferry, look for your guide who will be standing on your left just before you enter the Ferry Terminal. Your guide will be holding a Terra & Tide sign.

Walk ends: 4:00 pm, Ferry Wharf in Matiatia

The tour includes a bush walk and trekking to the summit of a pa site, which involves some uphill walking and uneven terrain. Youre traversing native bush paths, which may include natural steps or slopes but arent described as overly strenuous.
