Your personal and expert guide will lead you through the valley past the boiling and steaming lakes down to Lake Rotomahana where you will take to the waters by kayak. Paddling over the historic Pink and White terraces now buried in the lake you will kayak to incredible fumaroles on the steaming cliffs and the location of geysers which regularly steam on some trips. What to bring:
• A towel
• A Bottled Water
• A packed lunch if you wish (food is also available for purchase at the Waimangu Cafe)
• Credit Card/Cash/Eftpos for food and drinks available to purchase from Waimangu Cafe
• We recommend that you bring a waterproof camera! (These are carried at your own risk)
• Optional - A change of clothes (just incase)
• A smile and sense of adventure!
Clothing appropriate for the season, recommendations below:
During the summer months (November to March)
• Exercise type clothing that is quick drying + a warm jumper
During colder months (April to October)
• Pants/leggings for your bottom half and a minimum of three layers for your top half (which are preferably thermal, fleece, or wool)

Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.
