Heading to Kerikeri the citrus capital of NZ passing by native bush, forest plantations and beef, sheep & dairy farms.
A visit to the workshop of Romeyn Woodcrafts a family business : showcasing housewares : boards, table mats, coasters, pens, puzzles etc made from native NZ timber: including Kauri one of the world’s mightiest trees, growing to over 50mtrs tall, with trunk girths up to 16mtrs, and living for over 2,000 years.
Honey Paihia is where you will be tasting honey including NZ’s famous manuka hear about our local bush area and conservation program for kiwi. Next we visit the Historic Stone Store Mission Station by the Kerikeri River....
